Pumpkins are well-upholstered comestibles; metaphors for plenitude, turgidity and fat goodness. Their cultural association with the spiritual negativity of All Hallows Eve is an unfortunate late redaction.
I love keeping in touch with people, I love hearing and seeing and reading about your lives through your letters, emails, blogs, photosharing etc. and I love writing back with my own goings-on, and photos. I won’t lie, I do think it kind of funny and somewhat pretentious to post photos of me and my life on the internet as if they were great matters of consequence, but I promise not to take myself so seriously… I’m up for a fun, new medium of communicating… This will mostly be a photo blog; I will save my brilliant and profound thoughts for more personalized communication…
So, karibu! Welcome, enjoy… and as always… be in touch!

you have a happy blog, and I love it. I also love that old white sink in one of your earlier posts. Had one like it in an old house.

awesome pictures! I love the 4th one especially! I'm not sure which is scarier, the first one or the last one.
Who knew there were so many different kinds of pumpkins? Sweet. :) So . . . how many did you get?
